1. Means you are running out of hard drive space.
Most likely.

2. It wouldn't know.
Seriously.

In Windows, 99.999999999999999999999999999999998% of memory warning messages are red herrings.

But, chances are, you've got a memory leak. Look up active processes in Task Manager, find the one that's using a disproportionate amount of RAM and CPU time, and nix it. (look up the process name on the internet before ending it if you don't know what to look for...)

4. It means you are running out of available RAM. Go to Best Buy
and buy additional memory and install it onto your mother board. It's cheap. Or, shut down lots of programs that you are running simultaneously. Or, reboot. You might have one erroneous application
that is gobbling up your RAM.

The hard drive could be involved with virtual memory in the "paging " process. But,if you have plenty of RAM, it shouldn't be a problem.

6. If you don't reboot your computer often
it means that you've got a lot of stuff still taking up RAM space.

Just reboot and you'll probably be okay.

7. Click on
start/settings/taskbar

Check which programs start up when you start your computer. You may be able to take some out of the start-up. Or right click on the ones you don't need in the taskbar at the bottom of your screen and close them. That will free up some ram memory.

8. Get more RAM and when you do, then install
a program like Startup Inspector. So many programs that you don't need load up and this will keep them from loading everytime you sign on.

10. It's insulting you...
...in the most vicious terms its OS allows. It *hates* you, and wishes you would die. It may soon start to freeze up in apoplectic fury, and will probably refuse to be seen with you in public forums. If you have a DSL "always on" connection to the Internet, it is almost certainly slandering you behind your back.
