That's a movie I just don't get

"The Fisher King." Maybe if I saw it 200-300 more times I'd finally understand it.

1. What's not to get?

Jack tries to redeem himself by helping Parry who he inadvertently wrongs...we're all part of the "bungled and the botched" and we just have one another to help us through. It's not the most realistic movie ever made, but has its charms.

2. Not much of a plot, but fun to watch.

Visually entertaining, good characters. All the characters grow from begining to end, which you can't say is true of all movies.

Now, Napolion Dynamite, I so did not get that movie. Didn't even laugh. What was I missing?

I cannot remember much about it now except that it was good. Is it out on DVD?
