Hello folks,
I'm new here but did manage to shoot my mouth off enough to garner the right to post something of my own creation. I'm curious to know how big this forum is, in that will I start to get to recognize the "regulars" soon, or are there to many posters for that?
This place seems fun and I might have a future here.
About me: I'm not suggesting anyone should care, but I believe in personal freedom above all else, but as the bastard child of a welfare mother who subsisted on surplus cornmeal as a child, I eschew the Libertarian Social Darwinism philosophy.
As a father of young children, I'm starting to care about the world I brought them into and might try to make it better if possible.
As my chosen title reveals, I am in fact a convicted felon, as a consequence of hanging around some fellas who desired better car stereos than they could afford back when I was 18. That of course gives all of you a double incentive to disregard anything I might say.
I'll be seeing ya!

I like to think of this place and the posters on the board as a bit of an extended family. If you stick around you will definitely get to know other DUers and find that 99% of them are great people. So welcome to DU I know you'll enjoy your time here! :toast:
