Edited on Mon Jan-17-05 06:52 PM by HeyManThatsCool
Anyone else here a fan of his work?
So many of his movies have been hysterical!

4. Yep - he's a comedic master!
So totally deadpan, and so utterly funny. I saw him on a few talk shows, and he's funny then, too - but in a real laid back, subtle, straight kind of way.

6. One of my favorite comic actors of all time!
Frank - "Thats the red light district. I wonder why he is hiding out down there..."

Ed - "Sex Frank?"

Frank - "Errrrrr...............not right Ed. We've got work to do!"

7. YES!!!!!
Airplane, The Naked Gun Movies, He is just a trip. Sadly I think his past few films (SPY HARD WRONGFULLY ACCUSED) were way over done (Although even in them, there are quite amusing moments)

He was also decent in the otherwise unimpressive Scary Movie 3.

8. I heard he's married... but I love 'im all the same. Great movies!
Very deadpan, which is a hoot.

He used to be a more dramatic actor. But comedy, by and large, is where he's a winner.

9. Yes, and I want him in my movie
I want to make a comedy about the place where I am currently working. He would play my boss. It would be great.
I probably won't get around to making my movie ever, or at least not until he would be retired or dead. If I could make a movie soon though, I'd contact him.

10. Name one other actor that spent
about 25 years as a dramatic actor, usually the heavy, then turns around and reinvents himself as a comedic actor. The man does have poor taste in projects lately though. He needs Jim Abrahams.

13. I like his comedy better than his serious stuff, tho
Saw him in a "Columbo" episode, as well as "Forbidden Planet".

He's a good actor, but a much better comedian.
