But apparently there was a game you were supposed to play with them..

yeah the girls never got into the game, we just collected the ones with the pretty pictures... along with sandpets.

21. Yeah that happened at my school too...
although I think someone had a few expensive slammers stolen after that fiasco they were banned from school. By 6th grade (Sept of 1996) the fad was over

22. I had 3 rather large ones full of pogs...
I remember one time I was flying up to see my dad and I had them in my carry on bag. I guess the x-ray lady thought I was packing contra-band because I had to open up my bag and show the lady what was in the plastic tubes. I've probably flown 100 times in my life and that was the only time I was ever pulled aside so they could check my bag. As if an 11 year old girl was going to carry a bomb or something on the plane!

Didn't give a crap about the game, but when I was on the Big Island, I musta drank a gallon of that stuff every day....

20. Anyone else remember that pog maker toy?
You put in a baseball card or something similar, pushed the thing down, took out the round part that was just cut and stuck it on a blank pog? It was called Milkcap Maker I think.
