poor nephew- hit with double viral pneumonia
but he is responding to meds finally, They treid some epinephrine and he had an allergic reaction.. only 2 1/2 years old poor guy

2. My baby nephew is going through something like this too
They don't know yet what's going on exactly, but he's going to the hospital for tests. Hope your little guy gets better very soon. :(

3. Hey, CB, pester a little bit to make sure he or anyone else in the clan
doesn't have pertussis. Kids are given vaccine and it was thought go give lifetime immunity. Not so. Healthy teens and some younger as well as a mess of adults are getting/spreading this disease and it is grossly under diagnosed in this country.

Hope the little guy gets better fast.

You are right, there are nasty bugs out there and too many doctors are missing some of them. Anybody with a really nasty, racking cough-until-you-see-flashing-lights-and-puke kind of cough needs to insist on finding out if it is pertussis. We need to be proactive about the spread of this as too many in medicine are wearing blinders.

5. oh, God. My 10 year-old had pnuemonia this past fall...
Poor little guy. He got over it after about a week. Best to your nephew for his healing, too!
