Anti-Bush book supposed to be in a scene in CBS' Judging Amy
Edited on Tue Jan-18-05 02:51 PM by jackson
In an upcoming episode of CBS's popular series, Judging Amy, a scene is expected to include a book I helped write. The episode may air as early as tonight.

The scene opens with Amy, the lead character, and her boyfriend in bed, reading. The book Amy will be reading is "Big Bush Lies," published last year by RiverWood Books of Ashland, Ore. I wrote one chapter in it and helped with another.

Judging Amy airs Tuesdays at 10 p.m. eastern time, 9 p.m. central. I've never watched this series, but I guess I'll have to watch it now, just to see if I see the book.

2. I always liked Judging Amy. I stopped watching a couple of seasons ago,
simply because I couldn't fit in a regular viewing of a primetime show. I still catch reruns on TNT from time to time.

I'll try watching tonight to see if your book is on.

3. Cool - it could be next week.
The publisher isn't certain when, just said an upcoming show. I wonder how many other anti-Bush books have been on TV dramas...

4. I would like to see
Mark Danner's book "Torture and Truth", with the photo of the hooded prisoner of Abu Ghraib on the (blood red) cover, used in a show. Either that or a photo shopped photo of * holding the book.(the one where he's holding "Bias" would work nicely)

5. "King of Queens" boss was on phone getting hell from "Mr. Halliburton",
he hangs up and says "I can't wait until that douche is out of my life!" on old rerun I saw last week.
