Its about a policy put forth that soldier's pets/mascots have to be put down in Iraq. I am not sure about the accuracy but it makes me sick.

1. this is contrary to what soldiers have always done during war.

dogs help them get through this and they are hurting these guys extra. someone in the states needs to help organize a dog rescue. bring them back and hold them until the soldiers can get them here. I HATE THIS FUCKING ADMINISTRATION! They will DEFINITELY go to hell for this.

8. No less tragic, however,

this dog HAD a place to go, had a family to care for it, etc. This was not an unwanted animal. Maybe that is why this one sticks out to me.

10. There is nothing in this link

to indicate that this was mandated by Rumsfeld. Though I wouldn't put it past the SOB, I cannot post a reaction. We don't know what happened to that pup, and who mandated it. It's still sad, because he looked like a good dog.

11. I'm pissed off too

As someone who adopted an abused and abandoned pup, I have a special hatred for anyone who's mean to animals. I normally don't hate, but will gladly make an exception for the sick fuck who created this policy.
