1. Mine's been going in and out since I've had it on for the past hour

So it's not just you.

Edit: What's weird thing is, my signal is usually terrestrial. I assume the sat signal and the terr signal are different, yet they're both going down at the same time? Doesn't make sense.

For about an hour or so I've been getting "Acquiring Signal" on my outdoor antenna. So it's not you.

3. Ours has been spotty from the outset. The satellite receiver is not
adequate, apparently.

4. Be prepared for this happening for the rest of the week
How many times did Satellite, Real Player etc go down during the election? For me, many times. Nothing negative can be sad about our "dictator."

5. Glad to hear this!
I've had Sirius for less than a month thought it was because I drive inalot of wooded areas where I can't get a decent signal. Gonna buy a home unit kit this weekend, hopefully it will come in alot more clear.By the way, I love it!!! (when it works!)

6. Normally
Normally mines 100% full bars 24/7 with my outdoor antenna

If you can mount an outdoor antenna with a clear shot to the sky it's well worth it.

If you are in an apartment and can only use the home kit antenna, try putting in in a empty metal pie pan. Some say the they get better reception with a pie pan. YMMV
