Poll question: Do I know when to fold them? |
|
My new movie poster came today.
It's a RARE UK Quad size poster for "Death Becomes Her", (1992).
While the bottom edge is a bit jagged, this poster is (a) an original and (b) double-sided. Double-sided posters are worth more money and, apart from the NMSA trademark, the double-sided aspect is utter proof that the poster is an original.
But they only make 40x27" frames. Not 40x30".
Should I fold the bottom part of the poster, which is literally 3" of trailing space (no words, just an extention of the artwork that nobody'd miss)?
I did the same folding to my "The Living Daylights" UK Quad poster. It has 3" of nothing as well...
I'd have to get a custom frame made, which would be nearly $200 - never mind the cost to ship the frame!

2. get two sheets of glass or plexi |
|
and clamp 'em together with the poster inside. It'll look chic and cost less. Most hardware stores will cut the material to spec.
