With the coronation in a couple of days, I'm feeling nearly as sick as I did on the day after Election Day. I'm just avoiding the news and drinking heavily. What are you doing to deal with this International Tragedy?

1. By coming here and lifting up my spirits

I posted below about how I was feeling too...and up til then I was feeling like crap. Now I feel light-hearted again. I love this place.

3. I have avoided the news since election night ...

International Tragedy ... perfect term . I drove past a gas station last night and there were small flags hanging all over outside , the flags were hanging upside down . The flag upside down means " nation under siege " right ?

and 2 bottles of wine.

Is this really neccesary? Soldiers in Iraq are going without body armour and the royal family needs $40,000,000.00 for the little king's coronation?

The 20th is "Not A Damn Dime Day." I am complying, sir! I will use my ISP (already paid) and my phone for local calls. I guess I'll keep the heat on and use soap and toilet paper too. One must draw a line .. eh?

10. On Thursday I will go to a local anti-inauguration protest,

fly a flag upside down, not buy anything, and not watch TV. Unless, of course, I read on DU that DC has been invaded by mylar balloons.
