Poll question: What was your favorite (not animated) show when you were a kid?
Every time I see Morgan Freeman, I am reminded of The Electric Company, one of my faves as a kid. (Aging myself!)

2. Me too
I was just getting ready to post that. I LOVED the Captain and used to cry at the end of every year when he would say, "See you next year" because I could not understand that. Mr. Green Jeans was my favorite and I love Tom Terrific and Manfred the Wonder Dog.

21. And Bunny Rabbit, Mr. Moose and the ping
pong balls. Wasn't Michael Keaton once Dancing Bear or was that something on Mr. Rogers? Wasn't there a magic slate or something? That is kinda foggy in my mind. Yes, I loved Captain but had a crush on Mr. Green Jeans, he always had cool animals on.

17. Waaaaay before your time, I expect.
You would have had to be alive and sentient by 1960 to remember Froggy. But here's all the information you need:

Ok, I'm going to admit something in public here, don't laugh but as a little girl I had a mean-crush on Billy Mumy! Kinda sick, as I still think of him in a whimsical kind of way.

at you because my very first little girl crush was on Alfalfa. OK, I am now going into isolation for a little while. He had such cute freckles.

25. Thank you...
At least someone knows and understands. Don't ask about the Saturday morning (some years back) when Billy (all grown-up) was hosting an all day showing back-to-back reruns of LIS.

I don't believe I ever got off the couch that day! Blushing.

36. Won't you be my neighbor?
It's a beautiful day in this neighborhood,
A beautiful day for a neighbor.
Would you be mine?
Could you be mine?...

It's a neighborly day in this beauty wood,
A neighborly day for a beauty.
Would you be mine?
Could you be mine?...

I've always wanted to have a neighbor just like you.
I've always wanted to live in a neighborhood with you.

So, let's make the most of this beautiful day.
Since we're together we might as well say:
Would you be mine?
Could you be mine?
Won't you be my neighbor?
Won't you please,
Won't you please?
Please won't you be my neighbor?

I loved Mr. Rogers.
