1. Probably thier only really solid one too.
That and a couple of pretty rocking hits...

If they had died in a plane crash in the 70s, they would be minor legends instead of jokes.

2. Aerosmith is not a joke.
They are legends. And considering I've met them all on atleast one occasion each I can say they are great to their fans as well.

I like their old stuff, I think "Love in an Elevator" and all that other stuff is silly.

I think they best thing theyve done in recent years was their bluesy GAP commercial-if they made records like that, I would like them more.

Nothing personal-obviously I didnt know they were your buddies!!

4. Not buddies, but sort of neighbors
2 of them live on the same street as one of my cousins. I live within 15 minutes driving of half of them, and 45 minutes most of all of them. We see em all the time, atleast when I'm home from college. Don't live near any of them here. But growing up they were our big local celebs.

6. i've said this before and i'll say it again.......
i wish they would start useing drugs again....they will never write another "dream on" or "back in the saddle again" untill this happens. really though, i'm just kidding, but it is painfully obvious they're on auto-pilot now.......

"rocks" is indeed a great album, but "toys in the attic" is their best, most solid effort....IMHO......
