AP: 100 lb woman eats 6 pound hamburger
Edited on Wed Jan-19-05 08:15 AM by AngryAmish
"CLEARFIELD, Pa. (AP) - Kate Stelnick may weigh only 100 pounds, but her appetite is remarkable. The college student from Princeton, N.J., is the first to meet a restaurant's challenge by downing its six-pound hamburger - and five pounds of fixins' - within three hours.

Stelnick didn't eat for two days to prepare for the challenge. "I felt very full, but I was too excited that I actually ate it to notice," Stelnick said.

Stelnick, 19, made the five-hour drive to Denny's Beer Barrel Pub with two friends from The College of New Jersey on Wednesday, after they saw pictures of the monster burger, dubbed the Ye Old 96er.

Denny Leigey Jr., the owner of the bar 35 miles northwest of State College, had offered a two-pound burger for years and conceived of the six-pounder after his daughter went to college and phoned him about a bar that sold a four-pounder."

There are pictures floating around of this feat.

ON EDIT:
I can't seem to make the link work. Maybe look it up on google news. But this has to be seen. God, I hope she's single.

11. I find it ironic
that she's wearing a Lance Armstrong cancer bracelet. Um, eating 6 lbs of red meat in one sitting is not exactly a good way to prevent colon cancer.

6. My 95 pound wife can put away a ton of food as well
My wife can eat more than myself & my parents combined at a Chinese buffet. And, she weighs about 95 pounds, is a size 0 and is trying in vain to gain weight.

12. I WISH I had her problem!
I'd rather be able to eat like a pig and not gain an ounce (weighing 150 pounds when I should weigh 170) than be in the situation I'm in now (forced to eat like a cat just to maintain my weight of 280)!

13. my wife doesn't exercise, either
It's just natural for her... but, she has a devil of a time finding clothes that she likes. Not too many options for size 0. I wish she could put on 10 pounds and go up to a size 2.

9. I dated a 100 lb. japaneese girl once
and she could eat like that. She could also drink anyone I ever met under the table. Japaneese love their gin. Hic!
