Dean Gaining Early Momentum in DNC Race |
|
http://story.news.yahoo.com/news?tmpl=story&cid=519&ncid=519&e=19&u=/ap/20050119/ap_on_re_us/democrats_chairWASHINGTON - Howard Dean (news - web sites)'s hard-charging race to head the Democratic National Committee (news - web sites) is gaining early momentum that recalls the streaking start of his 2004 presidential campaign. -------- I hope everyone who supports his nomination as chair of the DNC has send their letters to the DNC members in their state!

2. I remember headlines a couple of years ago |
|
about Dean gaining early momentum in the Dem primaries. Not to be a naysayer, I really hope he gets this - it'd be the big "Fuck You" to the DLC that we've been waiting for for years - it's just that that headline rang all too familiar.

3. One of the things about Dean that doesn't seem to be mentioned |
|
Is that he already played this role.
After dropping out of the race he could have closed up shop and gone home (Gephardt).
But he (and several) refigured DFA and supported Democrats (and not just financially) all over the nation AND GOT THEM ELECTED!
I know here in Cedar Falls, Iowa our new Democratic State House member and Democratic Senator who's district I live in received money from DFA (and they didn't support him in the caucus).
I don't remember seen Rosenberg during the election or receiving emails from him asking me to support other candidates. Or Frost, or Fowler, or any of them. Only Dean, he was the only one working for the entire party.
Who's better suited to run the Party?
