Why to people pretend they know all about issues they know |
|
nothing about? And why do people ask the same questions over & over again just because they do not like your answer? Some days I hate my job.

I think you get that in any profession, though. Medical field, everyone thinks they know everything about medicine etc. :) It's Ok, you are home for the evening. :)

6. Do you get the "IANAL" types |
|
who then proceed to tell you all about their opinions on this case or that case, to which you want to tell: "if you're not a lawyer, why would I care what you think??"

5. It's like that everywhere you work with people |

I work in a grocery store - same thing. People ask the most amazingly stupid questions, they tell you how to do your job (which they know nothing about), they feel they have every right to be rude to you and treat you like crap because, after all, you're just a lowly service person.
I had a lady come through my checkout line one day, asking something (I forgot what). I politely answered her question but she was looking for a fight - she said snottily, "Oh, what do you know? You're a stupid idiot."
I stopped scanning her groceries, leaned right over the belt into her face and told her, "You have no right to speak to me that way but I will accept an apology." Then I just stood there, about an inch away from her face and waited. She apologized but they drive me nuts sometimes. I'm very polite and helpful but sometimes people just want to take their crap out on you.
