I looooove freshly fallen snow at night!
Just got and the snow is all sparkly under the street lights.Just like millions of little diamonds. It was quiet and beautiful.

I was the first footprints and it was pure delight.

1. I'm with you!
I absolutely LOVE the winter and snow. I've been so depressed b/c we've gotten literaly NO snow here. Usually I'm up to my ears in it by now! What gives?

2. Snows okay...
Going home on 95 South after snow... sucks (2 hour 30 minute trip that usually takes me 30 minutes)

3. Friday should be fun
watching the snow come down. Watch 494/694/35W/35E all get gummed up.

4. I'm from PA but now live in CA- I miss snow sometimes
Like you said, at night when it is fresh it just covers the world with a pure coating of white and all sounds are muffled and everything just seems softer.

But having to shovel and drive in it? I don't miss that at all!!!

5. Sublime, isn't it?
I also like it under a clear night sky with a full moon. Nothing else quite like that.

6. We had "sugar cookie snow" when I got out of work--
the kind that just makes everything look sugar-coated. When I got home, there was not quite an inch of powder--the kind you can just push-broom away. I definitely feel differently about it when it's the wet heavy stuff, but sometimes it's just right and what makes winter special.
