…as even The Weather Channel (!) was talking about the inauguration. :grr:

Music is a wonderful way to start the morning, don't you think?

3. Stupid monkey junkies
I turned mine off. Couldn't stand the malignant praise and propaganda breakfast.

Makes me want to puke.

4. After my breakfast, I'm going to go do a workout video.
No talk of the coronation there. Then I will put on an AC/DC album and lift weights.

8. I had oatmeal too.
I can't go to the gym. The Event will be on all the televisions there, I'm sure, and God forbid I should try to change a channel.

9. I *knew* there was a good reason NOT to go to the cardio room today!
They have the TVs in there, too.

5. On GMA this morning...
...along with the fawning, synchophantic coverage, they had some children on who had appeared on the show before Bush's first inauguration. They showed their comments from their first appearance, and let them comment now. Without exception, these children were more critical than anyone in the mainstream media have been. The last child they showed could only giggle last time, this time she could not finish her comments because she broke down and cried.

It was actually very powerful. I'm surprised that it made it on.

Bill Hemmer is as giddy as the girls in Hard Day's Night. I half expect to see him crying while clutching a few blades of grass that the pResident may have stepped on by the end of the day.
