Let's Out All Cartoon Characters Once and For All
Now that Spongebob has been outed by Dr. Dobson, I think it's high time that we out other cartoon characters:

Dr. Quest and his "companion", Race Bannon
Fred Flinstone and Barney Rubble
Velma (Scooby Doo), and no she didn't grow up to be Janeane Garafolo
Elmer Fudd
Mr. Peebles(McGilla Gorilla)

Can anyone name any others?

4. Snagglepuss
That voice, the stage direction quips, the invoking of Mergatroid--doubtless some Sodomite deity--I could go on, but I fear his subversive, unholy cartoon goodness will overpower me.

7. Bugs Bunny and Elmer Fudd
Strong sado-sexual overtones with Elmer chasing Buggs(code for bugger?) with a symbolic man tool.

17. It's about time we stopped cartoon vulgarity!!!
Edited on Thu Jan-20-05 04:22 PM by TwoSparkles
Oh thank you for this thread! I'm so tired of the evil, sexualized, violent, drug-addicted cartoons that appear on television!! The children!!! What about the children????

Here's my list of cartoon sin that has infested our television sets:

--Super Grover from Sesame Street wears a poncho. He calls it a "cape" but everyone can see that it's a poncho. Everyone knows that only females wear ponchos. SUPERGROVER...FLAMING GAY!!

--Big Bird from Sesame Street has an imaginary friend Snuffleupagus, that only Big Bird can see. BIG BIRD...PSYCHOTROPIC DRUG ADDICT!!

--Donald Duck is a male, but he has a high-pitched squeaky voice. DONALD DUCK...TRANSVESTITE!

--Hermie the Elf from "Rudolf the Red-Nose Reindeer" has stylish blonde hair + describes himself as a "misfit." HERMIE...BIG TIME GAY!!

--Marcie from "Peanuts" admires Peppermint Patty so much so that she calls Patty "sir". We've never seen Marcie's cartoon parents. MARCIE...LESBIAN TEEN RUNAWAY!!

--Sally from "Peanuts" has a very obvious crush on Schroeder, the little boy who plays the piano. SALLY...CHILD MOLESTER!!

--The whites of Hello Kitty's eyes are never visible. Her eyes are solid black dots, indicating constant dilated pupils. HELLO KITTY...CRACK WHORE!!

Oscar the Grouch lives on the streets in a garbage can on Sesame Street. OSCAR THE GROUCH...HOMELESS, LAZY, UNCHRISTIAN BUM!!

...These are just a FEW examples of the daily fight I face as a concerned and disgusted parent.

Stop evil cartoon tyranny now!!
