Shirt tag rant:
Tags in the necks of shirts.
Whose bright idea was that?
They itch and irritate.
Miz t.'s all stick straight up in the air, like little flags.
I cut 'em all off.

Now I'm worried that should my body wash up on the shores of the Danube, or the Baltic, or wherever and they see all the clothing tags are cut out of my clothes will they think I'm some kinda CIA or KGB spook and will that void my life insurance?

I hate tags.
:grr:
end of rant
thank you vey much

8. I hate tagless tees and underwears.
How's a dumb rural wisconsinite like me gonna know which way to put 'em on?

9. There is a 'tag' printed on the material itself
It's not the annoying kind, but is more like a stenciled outline printed directly on the material. You can't really feel it, but it helps a lot to distinguish them, especially if you have others in the same house who are of a similar size.

10. I don't find tags annoying at all.
Besides, those printed tags probably fade after repeated washings. Then what?

13. Most tags don't bother me either
Worst case, I'll find a small scissors and cut the tag off as close to the shirt as possible. BTW, the tagless printed ones I have haven't faded so far. I think they're pretty durable, and might not last much shorter, if any, than the normal tags.

17. I'm surprised.
Nobody made the "yellow in front, brown in back" joke.

6. Hanes. They also make
bras and underpants that are tagless, for which I am truly grateful. The bra tag always itches just out of reach for a really good scratch.

How many shirts and sweaters have you damaged cutting the darn things out, because they are completely UN-WEARABLE with those tags in there.

4. The worst part about tags...
when a tag is really bothering you and you can't wait to get to a pair of scissors and you rip it out and in turn end up ripping your shirt. That has happened to me on more than one occasion

12. Two words: Seam ripper
It's a tiny tool that home sewers use. With care, you can remove the tag and leave the garment intact.
