I am at the point where I hold the media as being every bit as guilty as * for war crimes, and I think many of them should be tried and convicted for aiding and abetting. This isn't easy for me to say because I am a former journalist and I love the idea of freedom of the press. But this is a press that has sold it's soul for a quick buck, and thousands are dead as a result.

So, I would put many of them on trial, in an open fair courtroom, and force them to listen to the testimonies of thousands of Iraqis that have suffered because of what they've done, as well as the families of U.S. troops killed. You know, all those stories that they censor. Then, off to prison they go. Put them all on the same cell block and force them to watch the video of the little girl who watched her parents get blown apart the other day over and over again. That's what I'd do. How about you?

Use trust-busting laws to break up corporate media conglomerates. Impose stricter limits on ownership of broadcast media, like we used to do.

7. Start enforcing the anti-trust laws again. Break up the monopolies.

Pass laws prohibiting the ownership of corporations by corporations. Reverse the supreme court decision granting personhood to corporations. Prohibit political donations by corporations. Require that all media using public airwaves devote a significant percentage of primetime to cover elections and all candidates. Require all utilities, including water and energy, be public entities. Nationalize the oil companies. Kick the fatcat lobbyists out of Washington.

9. I'd Change the Requirements for President

he/she would have to be a college graduate who has taken significant course work in Political Sciene, History, Law, Economics, and Philosophy, and graduated with a B plus average or above. The grades would have to be verified meaning rich parents shouldn't have bought the degree if you know what I mean, or achieved through cheating.

Any law maker who proved themselves incapable of separating Church and State would automatically face impeachment for failing to uphold the Constitution.

Ban civilian possesion of assualt weapons

Quit funding sports arenas with tax dollars and give money to help those less fotunate.

Pass universal health care coverage which would include mental health care and do away with HMO's.

Investigate the drug companies and put price caps on prescriptions

Investigate the power companies

Research alternative power sources eliminate dependence on oil as soon as possible

Rebuild relations with allies

Pass equal pay for equal work legislation.

Allow stem cell research and remove restrictions on science that are based only on narrow minded religious viewpoints.
