Weird. First time in awhile.
I even feel odd calling it a "date." Can't there be a word to communicate the same concept without sounding like a teenager?

1. Just think of it as an outing with friends |
|
Except for the sex part, if it should occur. :P

She invited me over to her house and I am going to cook dinner (I'm one of those males that likes to cook). I'm a little concerned that this is not the ordinary procedure for initiating a relationship or feeling out if you wish to do so. I would think a generic dinnerandamovie, or my perfect date, dinnerandamuseum would be more normal.

7. Maybe she feels her house if a more comfortable setting |
|
where you can both relax and get to know each other. By the time dinner is prepared you will have probably discovered quite a lot about her and vice versa.

I think she is a bit of a home body (works and goes to school so I can see where that would make someone less likely to want to get out) and maybe she's trying me out; seeing if I go well with the furniture.

11. She's also showing a great deal of trust |
|
by inviting you into her home. Wear something that matches the sofa and things will be fine!

She raved about my cooking. Spent half the time laughing at my witty banter and the other half rubbing her fingers through my hair telling me how attractive I was.
Not bad.

Is she a liberal and/or a Democrat?
When are you two getting together again?

And, I would agree with out, or just saying that you're going out with a woman.
Good luck.

|
I call it a date. That's what it is to me. Guess I feel good about still having them!
