more new pics of the Venation cats (dial up warning)
Edited on Thu Jan-20-05 09:28 PM by Bertha Venation
Last ones.

Uncle Petey loves his kittens. See him grooming Charley:

He was grooming Skittles, too, today, but I only caught the end of their little warmth-fest:

These two are S & C's litter mates. We were not able to trap them for socializing, so we'll have to do so later for TNR:

Charley has become friendlier than Skittles, so he gets his photo taken more often.

'night, all

1. The eyes on the last one,
were they meant to scare me? (Beautiful cats, btw.)

5. I wish I could shoot them w/out the glowing eyes, but it does add
something to the photos. Still, there are times I'd like not to have the addition.

7. At least it's not red eye, I think that's worse.
Are the cat's eyes blue? My dogs stop what they're doing and get this really dumb look when I turn a camera on them. Only my mother has managed good candid shots of them.

8. His eyes are brown-gray. It's an eye color I've never seen on
beast or human, and it's just gorgeous. Maybe one day I'll get a good shot.

Your dogs sound like dogs. LOL Buddy used to do that, Mrs. V.'s old dog. He was a good dog. I miss him.

'night, all.

2. I didn't know you got a kitten. They are all so lovely. Is the youngin'
perking up the older cats?

4. we got two, by "accident" -- while trapping cats for neutering
and returning them afterwards to our feral colony. We decided to socialize the kittens. It's coming along more slowly than I'd hoped.

They are perking up the "younger" older cats -- the ones under 4 yrs of age. They're just pissing the older ones off. We don't know how old Daddy is, but Harry & Richard are over 10 and they just want to be left alone.

6. Uncle Petey is beautiful!
He seems like the best big daddy to the little ones.
