1. Especially hen reading existentialists...Camus, Sartre etc
I felt the need to sit outside on a bench in public because I was afraid that, left by myself, I might.........

2. No, but I would like it.
I am ALWAYS surrounded by others.... my happiest times were w/ minimal human contact (that I did not want). Strangers talk to me in public, and all I can think is 'flee'. I have the opposite issue. I am happiest w/ self, kids, cats, hubby.

3. Not really.
Maybe once or twice. I'm a loner by nature, and I'm happiest inside my own head, so loneliness isn't something that really bothers me...much.

6. I have been that alone, but decided to move closer to family
and have never regretted that choice. I have never been happier. Above all others your family are your best friends.

8. You mean strangers don't talk to you in public?
Edited on Fri Jan-21-05 01:38 AM by Zing Zing Zingbah
It happens to me all the time.

It especially happened a lot when I had customer service type jobs. You get to talk to some pretty interesting (in a weird way) people working those kind of jobs.
