Did the U.S. elect Bush to be the Ruler of the Planet? |
|
Forgive me for the rant but it's been a long day for many of us and I am totally frustrated.
My thought is that an American president's job was to be part of the management of the government to fulfill governmental duties not addressed in local government while collecting taxes to do so. That is why we we have so many cabinet posts and divisions. The feds carved out there role in these areas. Education, Agricultural, Environmental, Commerce, Treasury, Defense, etc.
Yet Bush gets up there and issues an inaugural religion based speech (his interpretation of religion) on how we are going to free the world of tyranny and democratizes the whole world based on his vision as to what he believes God ordained him to do. He offers a small comment about how we'll be safer if we make the world democratic.
Excuse me, what about Americans and their needs? We are the ones who pay the taxes, we have our own needs. Our VA program is in a shambles, our education mandates by the feds are under-funded, we have poverty and homelessness here. But Bush is going to take over the world, using our kids, and show them how great democracy is. Well, Mr. Bush, why don't you try spending our taxes here on us? We need them here.
I don't believe your job duties included being a religious ruler of the planet paid for by American tax-payers.
Rant off.

but did the faithful? They're still crowing about winning and laughing at the losers without figuring out they're on the radar only when it comes to getting and keeping support. So far they've demanded little of substance beyond faith and pro-life issues but, with the work of the new term beginning officially tomorrow, we'll see how long that lasts.

6. Nobody elected the son of a bitch |

But there's a possibility Satan chose him to be the Antichrist, which would make him the last wannabe world ruler.

7. I forgot to add the messed up health care |
|
and the prescription drugs. It's all insane. We say we don't have the money to give health care and prescriptions to Americans, but we can use their taxes, under his spiel, to set free the dark corners of the world? Well, Mr. Bush, the uninsured in this country represent a dark corner of the world. The working poor who work hard but can't afford insurance and don't get the health care they need, are a dark corner, Mr. Bush. Why don't you try taking care of them first with the taxes you collected from Americans.
The next four years will be hell.
I guess my original rant wasn't completed.

computers in the 2000 and 2004 election. Combine that with we are the most powerful nation in the world and so who is going to stop him? Nobody, and he knows it so he can do what he wants. It isn't enough that we bombed Afghanistan to hell and did nothing to help them. No, then he went into Iraq and said i'm coming after you Saddam because you tried to kill my daddy, and well that may be partly true he also wanted the oil over there. Now he wants to go after Iran... can anybody say Religious war. This guy is going to make a mistake and it will start and all out nuclear war. The sad thing about it is, people who voted for him think he is going to be such a "good" president. There is a saying, full me once, shame on you, fool me twice shame on me. Well shame on everybody who believes that lying little creep. So no, nobody elected him to be ruler of this planet, he is making himself that now that he is in a position to do so.
