Actor Matthew Modine caught the inaugural parade from a vantage on Pennsylvania Avenue and came away anything but impressed.

"Hubris is the word that comes to mind when I think of what I saw today," Modine told reporters as he arrived for an evening gala sponsored by the nonpartisan Creative Coalition, an advocacy group for the entertainment industry. "I felt like it was not an inauguration but a show of power like those propaganda films you see, something fascist."
