Which of your favorite childhood cartoons promoted homosexuality?
I mean, seriously... now they think Spongebob Squarepants promotes homosexuality. Is it just me or is this really fucked up? Granted, I haven't exactly watched a lot of the show, c'mon. It's fucking children's cartoon. What could it possibly have in it that promotes homosexuality?

Anyway, what cartoon is next to achieve their demented "demon" status??

9. Bugs Bunny
through and through. Cross dressing, kissing Elmer Fudd on the lips. Him and Daffy were lifetime companions that shared a house, like Clyde Tolson and J. Edgar Hoover.

And the Martian promoted androgyny in a subtle way.

And Foghorn Leghorn? The epitome of a Freeper.

Edited on Fri Jan-21-05 09:57 AM by drumwolf
Boohbah is made by the same people who made the Teletubbies, which is one of the cartoons that the neo-Pharisees have already accused of promoting homosexuality.

I'm surprised that the fundies haven't already accused Boohbah of promoting the use of hallucinogenic drugs. If they did, they might actually have somewhat of a valid point.

...then you will know it's possible to take any cartoon with a dedicated fandom, and pair up the characters in creative homoerotic ways. Even if there's no hint of it on the show - or maybe especially then. Some slashfic is downright yummy, and some is ... not. ;)
