2. Their clean streets, the freaks.
The first time I went over the border to see Niagara Falls from the Canada side, I thought I was entering a bizarro universe where everything was ultra clean.

It was a long time ago, but I still have this vision of Canada as being too clean, like they think they're better than us dirty Americans.
:silly:

3. Too cold. And they make it sound even colder with their Celsius.
Anywhere but BC, zero is practically beach weather!

Now what we need is a country with a free press, good beer (and whatever :smoke: ), plenty of Tim Hortons, no Bush**, and a tropical (or Mediterranean) climate!!

26. That whole metric system up there is cause for suspicion.
What are they up to with that Celsius?
Why do they need a separate temperature scale?
Are they sending some kind of secret codes to the rest of the world?

It's all a little TOO foreign--if you know what I mean--Christ, they even use different money up there...WTF!

27. And they think they can fool us by calling the money "dollars".
Christ, they even use different money up there...

The bills are pink, for Pete's sake! Pink! Talk about (or 'aboot') "funny money"! Don't even get me started on the dollar coin, aptly named the "loonie"...

I'll be sleeping with one eye open----they're sly and crafty, those Canadians.

;)

23. Hello, enigmatic!
I've been bad and haven't listened to your radio programs much at all. I'm currently ripping my entire CD collection, so I can't listen to much else for probably a couple of weeks.

:(

Did you play any Britney like you promised a few weeks back?

Cheers!

42. I grew up in Maine.
There's way too much Canadian money circulating in that state. For the sake of simplicity, retailers treat Canadian coins that are less than a dollar as though they have the same value as their American counterparts. I always hated getting Canadian coins as change because I couldn't use them in a vending machine or at the laundromat.

In ice and snow with hardly any clothes on, pretending they are not afraid or cold. Snotty bunch. And their press: always wondering what the most reasonable policy would be! Buncha curlin' cheeseballs, eh?(sarcasm off)

I don't know where to start. Oh wait; yes I do, Celine Dion! I know slightly more than half of Americans deserve Celine Dion--but what about the rest of the world? WHat'd they ever do to Canada? Huh?

41. I didn't like it when they ripped me off...
when I spent American money at a store in Canada about 11 years ago. They didn't figure in the exchange rate. I only lost about a dollar or two, but I was still annoyed. I was only a freshman in high school at that time and I was there on a school trip. I could have used the extra money to buy a snack or something.
