Thoughts on washing
I don't mind taking a bath but I've always hated laundry.

4. Zipper in your tummy?
Are you some kind of science experiment gone wrong?

9. Sorry to hear that
I thought you were joking. Someone earlier had posted earlier about accidently disemboweling himself and wanting medical advice. (Of course, it was in the Lounge) I thought you might have been the same person carrying on the same joke to its next step.

I hope you heal up well.

5. I know what you mean...had an operation...a very simple one but I too
was scared to get it wet. It was a gall stone removal...the size of a golf ball...and the surgeon wanted to cut me open rather than laproscopy, but the technicians rallied him on and he removed it through an opening just large enough to get it through...so I was lucky. No large incision, but scared to get it wet in a tub...as if water would just migrate into the wound? I don't know why we fear that? :hi:

7. I had that 17 years ago
and there was fear I would split open the 5 inch vertical incision and my guts would come spilling out.

11. Hate Laundry?
I used to when I had to go to the laundo-mat, or when I had to go down into my creepy basement with bats, and fight with the washer that wouldn't spin - I actually had to time it out and go to the basement when the spin cycle was ready and manually start it. Last few weeks, it wouldn't get the water out at all - had to wring the clothes by hand..... Yesterday... my b/f got me a new washer, it's hooked up upstairs (where I don't have to go to the basement - the bat cave) and, it has an automatic fabric softener thingy.... I love it - I'm on my 8th load of laundry since they brought it. Tomorrow, guest blankets and curtains. I'm loving doing laundry.
