Am I crazy? I think Stephen Colbert is sexy!
I think I am nuts.

He's way too skinny for my tastes, and way too pasty.

But when I see him as Knoblick on Strangers with Candy, I just swoon!

I can't figure out the chemistry--maybe I'm projecting that a guy who looks like that would be very stable and dependable!

1. I'll buy that. There's a certain "hotness" to him that I just can't figure
I think it's the wicked sense of humor.

10. Thank you. It was a little scary. Been posting little bit here and there
for past couple of days. Not supposed to do stairs and computer's in basement...but, I cheat. ;) Painkillers give you the ability to do so many things you didn't think you'd be able to.

28. I'm glad you think so; he and I have the same bald-pattern.
Right down to the "island" of hair. My wife thinks it's cute, but you sort of doubt your attractiveness toward anyone else.

I've had the hots for Jon Stewart for a while now, but my eyes have opened to the Colbert lust recently.

15. From Comedy Central's Website
Edited on Fri Jan-21-05 11:06 PM by SCRUBDASHRUB

Colbert should be a very familiar face to COMEDY CENTRAL viewers. For the past two years he has served as a correspondent for "The Daily Show with Jon Stewart," reporting on anything and everything from the president's infidelities, to the post-Michael Jordan NBA, to a man with a self-made UFO Welcome Center in the front yard of his trailer home.

Born and raised in South Carolina, Colbert began making a name for himself in Chicago as a member of the famed "Second City" improv troupe where he met Amy Sedaris and Paul Dinello. After several years at "Second City," the threesome moved to New York City and, along with others, developed "EXIT 57," a half-hour sketch comedy series for HBO Downtown Productions which ran for two seasons during the mid-'90s on COMEDY CENTRAL. "EXIT 57" received five CableACE nominations for best writing, performing and comedy series.

Though continuing his duties with "The Daily Show," Colbert has reunited with the Sedaris and Dinello to create COMEDY CENTRAL's first ever, live-action, narrative series, "Strangers with Candy," a twisted take on the classic and typically moralistic afterschool specials.

In addition to his work on "The Daily Show with Jon Stewart," Colbert served as both a writer and a cast member on "The Dana Carvey Show," was a guest star on "Spin City" and has written for "Saturday Night Live."

Colbert currently resides in New York with his wife, son and daughter

25. Ambiguously Gay Duo for SNL
Colbert's voice is unmistakable in these cartoons, though I can't remember whether he was Ace or Gary.

Anyone who cares has also spotted him in those odd GM commercials.

And since he's so busy, I'm finding him even sexier! He's able to support me in the style in which I'd like to be accustomed!

17. There's gotta be! There's one episode of Strangers with Candy
where he is posing for a painting Mr. Jellyneck (Paul Dinello) is doing, and Stephen is completely nude--not pretty at all!

And still......

18. I just like on "Strangers" when they all bust a move to a song at the end
of each episode.

Amy Sedaris is a total cutie out of makeup. I'm so happy David Letterman is producing the "Strangers With Candy" movie as we speak.

...did he have that preppy look to him back then too?

26. On the DVD commentary of Strangers with Candy, they're shooting
at some prep school in New York, and Stephen mentions that his father went to that school. In the 1930's, so if his Dad had kids in his early 20's, that would put Stephen over 40.

31. He was a freshman in '82-'83...
...and one of my father's freshman advisees, which is how I first met him. I'm guessing that he could be turning 41 any day now.

I know nothing about his high school, prep or otherwise, but seem to recall that he was from Charleston, SC.

30. Heh heh! It reminds me of the Frasier episode
He was unemployed and dating this woman who had many neuroses. He was torn because Niles said he was only dating her to "practice" his pychoanalyzing, and feel like he was working, and that was no basis for a relationship.

At one point she asked Frasier, "Am I crazy, or are you breaking up with me again?"

He said, "Well, the 2 aren't entirely unrelated!"

:)
