Hey! What's everyone doing this weekend!

I'm all giddy...we're having an ACTUAL party here tomorrow with about 30 guests. Which ain't bad for a group that doesn't know many people. My goon squad from Vancouver is coming up too. Which will be fun to see them mix with people like the local art gallery curator. I antcipate an interesting night.

We're supposed to have an ice storm tomorrow. Yipee. :eyes:

So, I'm not going anywhere. But I am having fun posting on DU, watching movies, and doing chores.

4. Going to my daughter's play, tiling the upstairs bathroom,

Doing 4-5 loads of laundry, exchanging e-mails w/hubby (he's in New Zealand).

A friend and her 2 kids are coming over with Kabob in 20 minutes or so - our kids will play, and we will drink wine while discussing the upcoming attack on her native country (Iran). We're having a sleep-over.

Today I'm fed up because I had an invitation for a VIP party (The Predident of the Bundestag Lower House and a few others) , but couldn't go because I had to pick up my brother from his army camp.
I'll hit a club tomorrow instead.

9. Finishing a novel...writing, not reading.

Been working on this sucker for a few years--finally have it in form I'm happy with. Will let it sit for two months, read it again, and while it sits, I plan on researching small publishing houses and smaller lit. agents to see who might be interested in this.

No Leafs to watch but my grandson is a future NHLer anyway....unless he decides to have a career using his incredible brain!....Do I sound a little like a doting grandmother!....hahaha

do laundry, clean out my refrigerator, run on Sunday, shovel snow (hopefully not), and go over my sister's tomorrow night. I am going to watch her house and kitties next week while she is in Vegas. Not much at all. Have fun at your party!
