New experience $87.06....Shopped for groceries online
I live in Downtown Denver and have no car. They 'locked' the carts a few weeks ago so you can no longer take them home. It cost me about $15 to take a taxi both ways. I decided to finally shop on line with King Soopers. It took a long time, but it saves my 'list' so I can modify it next time....It will all be delivered B/t 10am-12non tomorrow! The best part is I don't have to break my back trying to carry all the heavy stuff up 4 flights of stairs.

1. I knew a girl with ataxia that used to get Webvan.
It's good to have that option out there, especially if you need it. I live by an old-school grocery store that delivers too.

2. You better cough up a pretty good
tip for whoever carries it up. You might find it in the lobby the next time.

3. I do a lot of my grocery shopping online
Takes me less time, and I do not have to deal with the people who park their carts crosswise in an aisle and get all pissy when I move their cart out of the way!

7. In DC they used to have HomeRuns.com
Hannaford out of New England ran them. Good quality, and worth the extra expense. Right after our daughter was born we used them a lot. They went out of business and ceded all their business to Peapod.com (giant food imprint.) Then we couldn't get a delivery from them for two days as opposed to one with HomeRuns.

The last order we placed was on September 10, 2001. Never did go back..
