4. Ah, ok...that makes sense...I'll have to pick that up sometime... |

I have almost all his studio stuff, except for his newest, but am missing La Bamba and some of his live recordings.

6. Saw Marshall twice in concert over the last year or so . . . |
|
I really, really love me some Marshall Crenshaw.
It's hard for me to even pick my 'favorites' of his. All are.

8. I've never been lucky enough to see him in concert... |
|
One of a handfull of artists I'd still like to see in concert someday...As far as I know he hasn't been to Vancouver since I've been here. Now listening to "Downtown", soon to be followed by "Life's Too Short"... :-)

9. Oh, you would love him in concert . . . |
|
He's very personable, and in his little chit-chat, you realize that he has an incredible knowledge of 50's & 60's music history, esp. songwriters and singers.
He told a story about how when he was about 11, their family TV broke and stayed broken for weeks on end, and his family just listened to the AM radio all the time, so he has a real affinity for that time period (late 50s, I'd guess). That's when he was learning to play the guitar too.
I love "Life's Too Short"--that's a great one.
