Do I expect too much?
I just moved into this apartment complex near where I'm going to college. Is it too much to expect it to be quiet enough to sleep at 12 o'clock at night? Especially when you're paying 1,000 dollars a month?

Damn hooligans.

*shakes fist*

1. Those bastards must surely be exploiting you?
$1000/month?! Ridiculous. As if tuition isn't bad enough.

6. well...
It is a lot. But considering that it's right in minneapolis, within walking distance to the u of minnesota, and it was completely furnished, and all utilities are included, as well as cable tv and high speed internet, and it was the only place I could find since I am just starting this spring semester and almost all housing aimed towards students is full, I'm not going to complain too much. Except that I expect to be able to sleep!

2. Damn... that's an expensive apartment.
I would definitely complain to the management, especially at the price you are paying.

3. Unfortunately, in your locale, yes.
I'm facing the same problem myself (although my rent is much less). It's strangely quiet this evening; usually music is blasting from the four corners of the building (make that three; it's not from my corner).
