I saw Alton Brown yesterday!

I have discussed Alton on DU before. Every time someone posts a "what celebrity do you have a crush on?" or "who's your favorite TV chef?" or "how do you make pizza crust?" thread here, I chime in with "Alton," "Alton" and "see Alton."

Alton did get in a (lighthearted) dig at Rachel Ray...something along the lines of, "I've met Emeril, I really like Mario Batali, I've met Rachel Ray a couple of times. I think other Food Network personalities have parties and don't invite me... I don't have my own restaurant. And I'm not perky enough."

Back to the subject, I like Alton's show, food network has been a godsend for the last few years.
