3. Wind chills of 20 below expected at Saginaw tonight

And, it goes without saying, my furnace bit the big one sometime last night. Fortunately, I DO have a wood-burning fireplace here.
Even so, Polly has insisted that I spend the night at a friend's house tonight (as I have had two heart attacks and cold does nothing for my general health). She will stay here, bundled up, and make sure the cats are okay and that the pipes don't freeze up.
Current temp inside the house is 45 or 50 degrees. Fireplace is stroking.
