They are solid blocks of ice and frost.

6. I'm in Mad City, WI.
It's bad here too, but the snow finally stopped. I think they are saying 'blowing and drifting' tomorrow. That could be seriously bad. God I hate winter.

9. Hey neighbor!
I'm in Chicago too. Go post in the Illinois forum if you haven't yet. :)

We're supposed to get 3 to 6 more inches of lake effect tonight if you're in the city proper, and maybe as much as a foot more for south suburbs and Indiana (Usually the lake effect slams IN and western MI, but the wind's coming from the other direction this time). -20 wind chills. Howling blizzard conditions. Don't go anywhere if you don't absolutely have to.
