Our street, 20 miles outside of Chicago. 2PM this afternoon.

No snow here in Seattle. Just dry and very gray. (It's trying to rain.)

I want snow!

I have to admit that there is a sort of stark beauty in winter. It's hard to describe.

Makes me wonder about where the cars that made them were going.

That thought would never cross my mind in the Summer.

that i bought the BIG HONKIN' snowblower.
ya only need it once in a while, but boy, are you glad you have it when you do.

9. We bought a fairly large snow thrower this year.....

22 inch, 5 HP. No frills. And it's come in quite handy so far.

14. bought mine a few years ago

and, of course, didn't need it for 2 years. it snowed and snowed that year, and there were none to be had. so i ordered one from troy built. it was supposed to arrive in a few days, but they sent it to michigan. it snowed and snowed while it was in transit, nearly 2 weeks. not another flake fell after it arrived. had nothing but a little dust the next 2 winters. took some ribbin' over it.

If you look in the bottom left of the picture, that pink thing is the head of a flamingo buried in snow.

It only snows once every so often. But DeLay was my Rep, everyday.
