A Normally 1Hr Drive Took 6Hrs (+ BIG Pics)
Left at around 2:00 on a drive that usually takes, oh, about an hour. Because of the blizzard, I just got back! Not only that, the wipers weren't working. Yikes!

And now that I'm back, have some snow pics! :hi:

3. :) I'll take the occasional blizzards, as long as I can have four
distinct seasons.

6. You were in NJ? I cannot believe you were driving in this! You should have

stayed there. No, you were out on the Island... I wasthinking of the Turnpike Exit numbers, but that would not have led you to the QM Tunnel. I am getting cabin fever already.
This is my porch at 8:20PM, here in Seagate, near Coney Island.

9. Wipers weren't working?
Wow.
I'm glad you made it through ok.
We got a lot here as well and I haven't had the need to go anywhere so I've stayed put.
I was supposed to meet a lady for a second date this weekend but we both decided against it. (we're about an hour and a half apart)

Ah well, at least I still have hot tea and DU.

Cheers.

:)

11. big difference
I left at noon to return home from a place 40" from my house. This is north Jersey we're talking about. It had just started snowing at about 11:40. It only took me an extra 20" to get home in the early part of the storm.

Six hours!--that must have required a lot of patience.

I was amazed at all the cars out on the road and furthermore, most of them had no intention of going home. There was a line a quarter of a mile long to get into a freaking shopping center!

Cher

p.s. thanks for posting the pics. Fun to look at.
