5. You know, I still kinda like a some of the tunes on Pornografitti...

like "Get the Funk Out". The ballads were a bit lame, but the rest of the album cranked. I don't get why so many people are all hung up on his stint with Halen...especially when you consider that Eddie's first choice to replace Roth, and then Hagar was Patty Smyth. Imagine that...a chick singer fronting Halen!

9. Oh c'mon, Gary's got a good voice, and he's a good frontman as well.

The VH thing was a mess: no matter what he did, he'd lose on that count. (Though when I saw them with him fronting, I thought they were good.)

I've seen his bands here (Boston-area) for years and I've always thought he was good, though I wasn't a big fan of Extreme, mainly because I didn't like their material.
