Poll question: feet: out or under? |
|
Do you sleep with your feet fully covered, or with one foot or both feet hanging out? Can you fall asleep any other way?
Me, I feel like I'm suffocating if my feet are covered. How about you?

3. Everyone knows covering your head doesn't work against monsters |
|
UNLESS the feet are also covered.

11. Damn skippy. You have to make a protective seal |
|
with the covers. They'll come in through any loose bit they find.

4. I get very cold when I sleep |
|
Flannel sheets, blankets, flannel PJs, socks, the works. I couldn't stand to have my feet bare, unless it was the summer and I were sweltering in my boiling-hot house, that is.

Both feet are under the covers but no covers are touching either foot.

do you have some sort of cover/tent structure to keep the covers from touching your feet?

It slides between the mattress & box springs. The blankets & top sheet go over it. It slips off easily in the morning when I make my bed. Or I can leave it there if I don't care that it looks like a tent at the foot of the bed.
I got it from my Dr. years ago when I had an injured foot & the weight of the blanket hurt. I kept using it because I loved the warmth of being covered without the weight of the blanket holding me down.

6. I like my feet covered. |
|
I can't sleep uncovered. Even on hot summer nights, I still need at least a sheet.

8. Half the time tucked, half the time out. I seem to go through |

'shake and bake', where my body temp alternately gets extremely low and then boiling hot. Been that way for many years.

My feet act as a thermostat during the night. They stay in while I am cold or good temperature. They go out when I get hot. They go back in if I get cold. My husband is tall and likes the sheets and blankets tucked in so my feet go to the side if they are uncovered. I usually start with my feet tucked in. I am usually on the cool side when going to bed because my body heat hasn't warmed the bed up yet.

Once I hit the bed I'm out in like five minutes tops, no matter what is covered or not.
