Inventive Drunks Post Here...I made a new cocktail tonight...
I was originally going to make either Blood Orange or Pomegranate margaritas tonight, but the bag ripped and my beautiful bottle of Sauza smashed in the parking lot of my complex. I cried a little bit...inside.

But moving on, I went with what I had and tonight I am drinking 2 parts grapefruit juice, 1 part "pom" pomegranate juice, and 1.5 parts Jack Daniels. So good. Smooth & tart.

Does anyone else have inventive drinks? I know you guys are drinking tonight.

3. I started out drinking the Jack Daniel's straight then I got inventive...
I'm healthy now.

Grapefruit juice=Vitamin C
Pomegranate Juice=antioxidants
Jack Daniels=germ killer

Fights the common cold I tell you. I'm healthy. It's the supplements I take, the organic diet, and the alcohol & drugs.

17. That sounds like too much work.
I do OK with just overdoing the germ killer.

18. LOL
Well, I already had the juice. It's really a matter of pouring it all into a mug (only clean glasses in the apt).

As for the supplements and the organic food, well...I work in a natural foods store. It's actually easier for me to eat healthy than it is to eat crap. Anyway, it's cheaper for me to eat organic, since I get my store employee discount plus free deli food while I'm working. That tends to end up meaning that I only eat at work, because I'm poor.

I didn't post anything snarky, but I just thought it deserved it's own post.

My beer supplies ran dry two nights ago. Ended up with random free weed though.

4. This isn't that crazy of a drink,
but I was looking to use some rum I hadlying aroundl so I looked in the fridge and saw the only even remotely appropriate mix was apple juice. Damn that was actually a great drink, both are just about pure sugar so they dissolve in each other. I couldn't taste any rum in it at all--just alittle warm-ness.

I either call it the "Rum-ple" or a carribean apple!

7. Don't mix Apple Fizzy Lizzy's (juice soda) and bourbon
It's gross.

However, Cranberry Fizzy Lizzy's & Absolut Kurrant are absolutly wonderful. We were obsessed with these at the natural foods store where I work. Stopped ordering Fizzy Lizzy for awhile. We realized that the store was going through a case a week and it wasn't going to the customers.

10. I've never even heard of Fizzy Lizzy
but damn, now I want one.

I'll keep the bourbon away from it though! ;)

I've only had the cranberry & apple. We didn't carry the other flavors.

13. B52 is as crazy as I ever got.
Kahlua
Bailey's Irish Cream
Grand Marnier
Poured over a cherry into a shot glass so they layer.

Start with Kahlúa, then Bailey's and Grand Marnier last. Pour into a cordial glass.
