What room is your computer located?
If you use a laptop, what room do you usually use your laptop?

4. I have a tower type and
it's in the living room so I can watch t.v., be with family and work on it all at the same time.
Putting the puter in a separate room also separates you from family and that's not good.

24. Totally agree.
Blogging w/the family keeps them from griping about 'lost in his computer' etc. etc. I can be 'lost' and with them. The laptop thing is great when you want to get away from them (haha). Tell 'em you want one for your birthday!

I live in a 2-room apartment, so I have the bedroom and kitchen.
So my "media center" is in the kitchen.

9. I have an office at home...
...and my desktop computer is in there. I have a laptop that I tend to use there more often than not, but I also use it in other rooms of the house. I'm building a mini-itx linux box that will be used primarily as a music server, and will reside in the living room, I think.

Two (one functional currently) in the computer room. Laptop is usually in the entertainment room. And then there is the GF's computer on her desk downstairs.

20. when I first got my wireless
I thought I was so cool, then I realized that there are currently 4 other wireless routers in range. I feel like such a pud for saying that but it's true, I'm an aspiring yuppie.

Backyard when the weather permits, local hot spots, bedroom, kitchen, dining, living, family, basement, garage... it's my first born.

up on a distant one sometimes. And one strong one right next door that is secured...! D'oh! How cruel.

19. I live in a loft in Kansas City...downtown...WAY downtown
So I only have one room.

All of my computers are in one room.
My laptop however, I lug back and forth to work.

I like the idea of being able to see my computer at all times.

How did we ever live without these things?

(That's for those of us who were born in the 50's)

23. My computer is in my living room
this way I can watch or listen to my TV . I have been thinking of clearing out my spare bedroom to move the computer, but then if I move the computer I don't have the TV but on the otherhand my livingroom would be more presentable and less clutter. Well, if my cable is moved to the spare room I could move my TV there which means I'll need to buy new furniture. Procrastionation is great, I'll decide what to do another day. I'm bored with the interior of my house, but the cost of changing this things, well, just hate to spend the money that I shouldn't spend.

Can't imagine what I would do today if I did not have a computer, probably would be a fanatic at cleaning or a couch potato.

30. We keep ours in a corner of the dining room...I know it's odd but our
circa 1920's house doesn't provide alot of extra rooms.

Ps: I'm in Brookside. I love the downtown lofts, but my kids and dogs need a yard.
