Not a happy time. I hope he gets help and gets beyond it. My father died because of it but not before he made a royal mess of other people's lives in the process.

Just left the Irish Times by Union Station in Washington DC. It is a great place to drunk watch. It is also a great place to drink. Nothing says night on the town like a dark smokey bar with great Guinness.

Beer= They wonder the streets our house to find something half edible.
Whiskey or Tequilla= Will make them go up to people they like, know, or love and tell them to fuck off or challenge them to a fight.
Gin= This should only be drank by a women that is sitting on the stairs and sobbing uncontralebly.
Mixed drinks= The women are ok but the men drink it like Kool-aid and you have a tazmanian devil to deal with on the car ride home.
