I wore my DU shirt for the first time today
I can't wear it to work (unless I want to get fired), and I just got it Tuesday. Living in a red area, I got lots of dirty looks, but no one mouthed off.

1. Good for you!
Give them red-staters something to ponder. Heck, just maybe someone will come here to see what it is all about and acutually learn something!

2. Not just any red state....Texas!
I won't put bumper stickers on my car...can't afford new tires, and don't care to drive around in something that's been keyed. I'm thinking that the only reason something wasn't said today was that my eight year old daughter was with me.

3. Sad, sad, sad,
that we have to worry about our personal property when we talk about our personal beliefs! Keep up the good work!

4. I have an eight-year-old daughter too ...
and I'm not afraid to use her presence that way either.

I drive her around in a very red pocket in SoCal, and I have bumperstickers on - but it's a minivan with an 8-year-old in it, and people don't get too obvious about expressing their displeasure. Of course, SoCal and Texas (my hubby's company runs out of Tejas) are a bit different.

5. Good on ya!!!
Sometimes, all it takes is one person's courage to bring out others.
Who knows, maybe you'll draw out other progressives to show their colors!
