Just had a shifty at the creepers' site |

and looked at their list of hyperlinks to media sources. Guess what? No mention of the BBC, the Guardian or the Indpendent. All three of these are daily visits for me. Obviously they don't like being confronted with intelligent analysis of world affairs. I think the term is "denial".
On the other hand, they link to The Telegraph (we call it the "Torygraph" over here) and the Times. I don't have a single friend who takes either of these papers.
Sigh, I'd better go tidy up the house, wash the car, do some paperwork and the rest of the Sunday chores.

Those papers don't even attempt to hide their preference for our side. They certainly don't like Bush, and there is nothing wrong with that, so I'm not surprised freepers don't read them. I certainly don't look to the wall street journal for advice on economic policy. In a free media, there will be biases. I just thank GOD we have something on our side available. Without the papers you mentioned, the pickings would be very slim in America.

3. Their "news" sources aren't... |
|
they're propaganda sources.
And, yeah...BBC, Guardian and Independent are 3 of my main news sites. If I only visit ONE news source online during the day, the Guardian is it. Makes most American newspapers look quite pathetic in comparison, in my opinion...in fact, I've pretty much given up on most US-based media. The best of the UK newspapers seem to have better perspective and greater diversity of opinion than most US newspapers. Even the vaunted New York TImes suffers in comparison to the Guardian, I'd say...
