Damn noisy neighbor
I have been having problems with our town-home-attached wall-neighbor.
Boomy bass and loud drunken parties at ALL hours.

Tried talking with them and handling it in a civil manner but young alcoholics don't listen very good.
I have been calling the Sheriffs and recording time-date-incident#'s for future possible court action. They aren't renters.

Well this AM at 7 they went at it again with the booming bass.
I had that just got up look with my hair down(shoulder length) and my stubbley biker looking goatee and my 6'4" frame. I can still look pretty menacing at 48.

I pounded on their door and I could see through the glass part that a few went up but didn't want to open it. Finally a young GQ-Maxxim looking fucker opened the door and I layed into him(a year's worth of frustration).
In no uncertain terms I let him know that I get up at 4:00am every morning and that I have a 12" sub woofer that will get turned on then, every god damned day. I cussed and had that look of kill in my eyes. He got the message that if we get woken up again then their household will be waking up with every morning at 4.

He kept repeating, "sorry bro'" and I wasn't looking at him like he was my bro'...that's for sure.

Hope my lecture holds.

1. Fight fire with fire
or, in this case, sub woofer with sub woofer. Stick to your promise and put on the puppy at 4am if they make so much as a peep the rest of the day.

2. heh-heh
That's awesome! Good move on your part.

Nothing worse than getting woken up with a hangover (or while still drunk) so it's cool that you played the 4 am card!

I hope it helps!!!

6. Thanks
I thought that also.
A hungover morning with oldskool country music blasting would be just what the doctor ordered for these little GQ/Maxxim girlie boyz.

4. Yep
And what's worse is we have a "disclosure law" in CA when we sell.
So these A-holes are dropping our home's potential value.

:grr:

5. I got someone to chill finally
cranking Nirvana pointing my speakers skyward and leaving.

They kept telling me everytime I asked them to STFU-she was loud loud loud and walked like Frankenstien or Godzilla and he was ok-"We want to enjoy our home." When I came back, they called me and asked me to turn it down. I said "this is how I'll be enjoying MY home until 10 PM everynight from here on out."

They moved.
