So get this - we're having our wedding reception in a working theater!
My fiancée worked there. I have experience in set design as does our florist friend. Plus she just graduated from UConn's theater program so we know lighting operators, scenic artists, costume people - the works. We're renting a photobooth (the kind they have at malls). We know jugglers, magicians, clowns, stilt walkers. We know the drummer for Eddie Brickel (he has a jazz/blues band in town) and he's also Eddie and Paul Simon's son's drum teacher. He played at my fiancée's 21st birthday so it's fitting.

Long story short - the sky's the limit- we're going to have the best wedding reception ever!

Can you tell I'm psyched?

It sounds exactly what both of you want. It sounds unique, interesting and fun.

I only wish I could be there. :-(

20. Where?
I wouldn't have thought that Carolina was full of castles.

I know that lots of Scottish ones provide weddings as well.

23. It was a smaller scale one, but with original stones from
Britain - England, I think.

It is near High Point, NC.

25. I know a woman that was having her wedding in a castle
I haven't heard from her in a while, but I know she is originally from Scotland and they were having the wedding at a genuine Scottish castle. I'll have to look her up...
