Remembering Nell Carter

With Johnny Carson passing today, I also remember and honor Nell Carter who died two years ago today. Her pungent voice and comedy style were unique and I remember her fondly.

10. Not to besmirch her memory for you but

I have a friend who worked with wigs & makeup at a theater in Chicago and he told me she treated all the workers there terribly. He said that she was by far the meanest and most difficult star he worked with in the four years he worked at that theater.

You can tell a lot about a person by the way they treat waiters and other service people.

It's too bad, she was clearly talented.
