4. old school oilers fan here.....i feel the pain.....

i have had an ongoing curse on the steelers since the 79 play-offs, when a pittsburg friendly ref nixed an obvious touchdown by the oilers mike renfro late in the 2nd quarter....the oilers went on to lose the game 24-13, but the play was the straw that broke them and it was this play that was sighted for a reason for the instant replay rule.

Those of us who grew up during the bleak years and had to suffer through the numerous 5-11 or 6-10 seasons, the ghastly 2-14 seasons, the loser draft pics, the Superbowl blowout to Chicago, Parcell's temper tantrums, Victor Kiam, Ron Meyer, James Orthwein, Irving Fryar, Scott Scisson, Hugh Millen, Jack Tatum and Ben Dreith, those of us who clung on for dear life when we thought the team was headed to St. Louis, we're going to enjoy this ride for as long as it lasts. Thanks Bill, thanks Krafty! :-)
